The guy who made this guitar befriended me on myspace last night. He has some other pretty awesome carvings...I asked him if he'd thought about using a different design besides a Telecaster...Regardless, this is some darn fine work.

He told me he got $3500 for it, which is about 1,763 GBP according to the conversion I used on the internet. He says he only makes One-of-a-Kind carvings so I guess trying to get him to replicate that one is sadly out of the question...not that I have that much money to invest in an American Telecaster.
