Tempus Fugit, and YouTube video woes

Wadda pain in the ass!!! I had a really rough time getting the sound sync on the new video. I upload the same video to myspace and it works fine. Go figya.

Anyway, I got pissed off enoug this morning to delete the youtube vid and took about 10 attempts of remixing in different format, reupload and redelete....until I finally got one that works.

Larry....you probably upload more vids than the rest of us by a factor of 100 to 1 :) :). I gotta question..

I had to eventually switch to a MPG format for a proper upload. Is that the format that you are uploading in?

I want to make a vid for "Tank" next but I dont want to go through the same fight.

Yes Mark, I'm using MPG format for my vids. I have the very same problem with youtube that you have experienced...my problem is that I'm lazy and just leave it up...or if it's too bad I just don't post it. Myspace works out much much much better...I think the audio sounds better on myspace as well. There is a codec issue with youtube which I can't seem to figure out...some of my vids have a pretty good synch, while others totally suck...like an old Chinese Kung Fu movie or something...

yes...its a total frikkin pain!

I finally got it, actually after about 15 attempts by setting the video mode to the wrong aspect ratio in MPG format. I figured that youtube would fix the aspect issue, and they did.

I did this in a single take so the vid went fast. Jeezz...... It takes 15 minutes to make a video and 24 hrs to get it uploaded properly :(
