Evening all.
There was something on BBC news today about a group of guys (and a girl!) who have never met and are making music over the internet:

What pisses me off is that we've been at it longer than they have!
How about we try some original pieces along the way...(if we can work in the time, of course!)

I've seen a few of their videos and they are really cool. The thing about them is that they have been doing this with video...NOT with audio tracks like EMP does. And to be honest, I just don't see any way they could ever sound worth a damn, in terms of audio production, doing it the way they do. I mean, don't get me wrong...I think they do a great job...but EMP is heads and shoulders over them because of the amount of audio production that goes into the songs. In fact, I believe our Wizards video beats these guys hands-down simply because of the audio track...where they have ME beat video-wise is that they've found a way to get their clips visible simultaneously, where I had to edit ours. I would love to be able to do split screen as well but I just don't have the tools for it.
I'm game for original tunes when the opportunity presents itself. ;)

Gotcha about the production.... we'll all just have to invest in a few plasma screen TV's to scatter around the studio like they've done (although one appears to be a projector and screen...).
Yeah... listening to the final (ish) incarnation of LM as I am, I think we've got them beat on musical quality, hands down!
