Oh yeah....totally cool. I remember having a link to the web site where this is posted about a year ago. Great animation.
I think I need to learn this bass line.:duh2:

Yea this is a really cool song...and Geddy is probably the best finger-plucking bassist I have ever seen...I don't know how he does it. Second to Geddy (my opinion) is Jack Bruce. I just don't know how they can pluck like that in rapid-fire man. I'm a picker...plucking just eludes me for some reason.

Yeah...Geddy is amazing. His right hand technique makes me drool. I doubt if I could ever do that. If I had a right hand like that I'd like to take a crack at some classical on bass....running through chord arpeggios using 4 fingers. it would be beautiful.
I know Im a whacko...but...sometimes I like to learn and play lines meant for other instruments on the bass guitar. For example...I scored the guitar picking for ELP's The Sage on bass. it sounds pretty wild. Perhaps I'll shoot a private vid.
Today I started learning the lead guitar break for YOTC on bass. Its such a sweet lead break. Kinda like one of those pink floyd things....slow...meaningful and tasty.
Speaking of Floyd..perhaps we should weave one of their tunes into our lineup. I once tried to record "Learning to Fly" as it has kind of a special meaning for me. You too Larry as I'd imagine.

OH MY GAWD...FLOYD!!! LOL. I will see if I can locate a copy of Learning to Fly and give it a listen because I'm drawing a blank on it right now.
