Okay, so I'm back from Glamourcon - and far more smitten than before I left:

The amazing thing... I'd heard from a couple of guys who'd met her that she's prettier on the inside than out. I didn't think that possible, but now I concur. Denise is the sweetest, most down-to-earth woman I've ever met. All wrapped in a package that (at least for me) makes her the physically most attractive woman I've ever seen. Curses for being such an old wreck who lives on the opposite side of the country from her!
More "my speed" were my dinner companions Saturday night - Cathy St. George (PMOM 08/82) and DeDe Lind (PMOM 08/67)... ages 53 and 60, respectively (although you'd never know it to meet them for the first time). They were a hoot - I'm going to help DeDe develop a MySpace presence (she's relatively local - across Alligator Alley in Boca Raton) and I managed to get Cathy's phone number to keep in touch. Not sure there's anything there beyond simple friendship - but it was incredible hearing all of their war stories of old (as well as new Playboy gossip that I'm not at liberty to divulge) over some fine seafood.
Oh, and on the plane up-n-back, I knocked-out a bit over 50 pages of the Oasys Owner's Manual. The capability of that thing continues to stagger me - I'm now convinced that if you can just figure-out how best to do it, any sound you can imagine can be created inside that thing. To that end, I'm glad I'm running so far behind - because I'd really like to use it extensively on our upcoming recordings.
