8 year-old Quinn Sullivan made his debut on Ellen DeGereres' program a couple of years ago where he played and sang Twist & Shout by the Beatles. She presented him with a Gibson 335 which is still yet too large for him to play...so he continues with his Squire 3/4 scale strat. I'm sure his pickups have been upgraded over the originals because they sound really clean.

Really....the look on that kids face when she handed him that Gibson was absolutely priceless. Lindsay had a similar look when I gave her her first guitar. it brings a tear to my eye.

Another thing that impresses me about this kid is the types of music he likes. Real classic stuff...none of that shredding metal horse shit or rap crap. Gotta love him.

I think that his dad probably has that situation in hand very well...making sure he is "trained" to play classic rock and blues...if for no other reason, so that he can play along with him on the drums...HAHA. This kid is going to be a dynamo in the years to come.
