Life-Size X-Wing Fighter Launch

Recently a a rocket enthusiast named Andy Woerner (and friends) built a life-sized X-Wing fighter and launched it. The launch was a disaster...or seemingly so...as the X-Wing fighter hurled itself into the sky there was an apparent breakup somewhere between 75 and 100 feet...here is the video of the launch:

HOLY HAIRCUT, BATMAN! THAT WAS A CLOSE SHAVE!!!

As that rocket was about to light off I was thinking it would be really ugly if the kid didn't have his feet on the board and it shot down the street...and ultimately that is what happened after it spilled the kid onto the street. He's lucky he wasn't badly burned. I'd have been really pissed if my car was parked out on the street and that thing shot into it...LOL.

If that would have happened here all his neighbours would be calling for the social services dept to take his kids off him!
