I stumbled upon this vid. The rc plane has a camera mounted on it and the guy on the ground has a headset/display. When he moves his head, the camera on the plane moves. Check it out...

Here's another really cool vid as site. They made a helium balloon and sent a camera with GPS unit up to see how high it would go and what they could get.

Very cool stuff.

Thats pretty cool. I had that idea a few years ago. I wanted to use the camera/headset to pilot the plane. The field of view and camera/battery weight made it a bit prohibitive though.

My bad, I neglected to put the link to the air balloon thing. This is extremely cool. Be sure to check out the launch vid and following amazing pics and short vids of the flight. I was blown away at the simplicity and ability of doing this.
