I went ahead and signed up on Flix55.com and have uploaded some videos. My user name on flix55 is Silver_Hamer.
Got my computer back and I am mostly back in business. Since the hard drive crashed I've had to locate the disks with my programs and reload them...I still have a few more that I haven't located yet...such as Microsoft Office and a few others. BUT, I DID manage to get the IMPORTANT ones loaded...all of my video and audio editing stuff, and all of my graphics programs.
Oh...I almost forgot to mention...Santa brought me a new guitar for Christmas!!! :D Of course it's another Hamer :D A Hamer Vector with a flaming maple top finished in cherry sunburst (yea I'm a sucker for cherry sunburst). Drumroll please....

And finally...my latest video creation. This is my original song, Nawlins. The inspiration to write it came from talking to a friend of mine who lives there...after over 2 years they still don't have their home back. Theirs was about 10 feet under water for several days until the water receded...they lost everything that they couldn't fit into their cars when they evacuated. Their home had to be demolished and still hasn't been rebuilt. At the time I wrote this song, only 23% of the people in my friend's neighborhood were able to return to their homes. It's a sad state of affairs and those people don't have very much to smile about lately...so I felt a nagging urge to try to write a song of encouragement. PARTY BABY!!!...I know, it's weak at best, but it's SOMETHING. I could go on about this but I'll shut up for now. Hope you enjoy.
