Okay, the next aircraft is on the work bench. I chose the FA-18 Hornet as the next project. Here is a shot of the nearly completed nose section.


Most of the initial work is spent inside the cockpit tub, and I have this one nearly complete. I need to touch up paint here and there but for the part that will be visible its nearly complete. The upper part of the instrument panel (the very top) will be hidden under a shroud.

This cockpit is only about 1.5 inches long. This shit is way too detailed for my aging eyeballs lol.

There are dust particles everywhere as I just got done sanding out the seams on the entire nose section. . I couldn't see them until I set the camera to macro mode.

This took me about three days to complete. I'm onto the fuselage and wings next.

Here it is placed into the fuselage (with masking tape lol) and box photo. The kit is 1/48 scale by Hasegawa.

Geeze, I can't believe the level of detail you put into the cockpit. Looking killer bro!
