Here's one for everyone. MarkE, Tim, and I just finished this one up this past week and I put the finishing touches to the video yesterday. This was a real kick-ass project which marks Tim's debut on video. I think we did a pretty good job on it! Mark and Tim certainly rocked and made my part much easier! :D

I LOVE this guys! There are several GNR songs that I like but never expected any of you to do any of them.
One youtube request was for November Rain. I too would love to see you do that. I know David is busy with stuff lately and has a lot on his plate so I won't keep my hopes high.
But I really enjoyed this one. It was a kind of 'out of the box' thing and a nice suprise.
Larry, you kicked ass on the vocals on this! I never would have thought of you to do this track but you kicked it's ass with bells on. You have a fantastic vocal range. Great job!

Thanks, Tracy. GNR has some pretty good songs, but I've never been a big follower of the band, and this is the only GNR song that I've ever tried to play. I heard November Rain for the first time yesterday after having read the comment you mentioned. I don't know if we'd ever get around to having a go at it, but I'm not closed to the idea. The thing about SCOM for me is the energy...this tune RAWKS!

Hell yeah...Larry is really good on this song. Shit he's been playing it since he was 14yo. Here is a vid that his mom took of his high school band "Zit Popperz".
Here's Larry on lead guitar with his first SG copy. Tim Grogg is on drums but you cant really see him.

Sorry Larry old friend. I just had to make this public.
Then you have these two shitwhistles covering Larry's song a few years later

Oh gee, thanks Mark. Well, since we are digging up dirt on me...I have to say that it was really my Uncle Gerry who first inspired me to learn this song. He's the one who taught it to GNR back in the 80s...here he is in a little collaboration shortly after he taught it to them. And he is also the one who inspired Slash to use a Wah-Wah pedal in this song...just check him out at around 3:35. Uncle Gerry is DA BOMB!!!
