This is so much fun. I'm really impressed with this little hand held game machine (Nintendo DS) and when they came out with KORG for it, I fell to my knees!

Now, how cool is that?? I have seen similar apps for my iPhone but nothing that sophisticated. Just what I need Tra...something else to spend $$$ on LOL

I'm in love with my DS Lite. I've ordered a cart for it from Hong Kong. I'm waiting for it to come in. The cart has a slot for a micro SD card. You load the SD up with DS Game roms (get em online free) and plug it into the cart. The cart fits into the gaming slot on the DS and ta da! Any game or program for the DS for free! I have a 4gig SD so that's a lot of games heheh.

I already have Korg downloaded. I can't wait till my Cart comes in the mail :)

Do a search for "R4 DS" on youtube and you'll find tons of vids showing how it works. The only problem with it is that you can't buy it locally due to copywrite issues. I ordered mine from Hong Kong.

If you're serious about looking into a DS and R4 cart, I hightly recommend getting the R4III. It's a clone of the original R4 but it supports SDHC up to 32g whereas the regular R4 only supports SD up to 2g.

Youtube search R4III and you'll catch on. It's really not that complicated.

The only caution I need give you is to check into what ever company that you decide to order from. There are a lot of shady ones out there in Hong Kong.

The best I found was DealExtreme.com. You can't beat their prices (and free shipping) but they are awful for being slow at shipping. I ordered mine on March 3 and they finally shipped on March 17. I think what they do is collect so many orders and then order the item in bulk from their supplier. Ignore anything on their site that states "item in stock and ships in x to x days". It's not true. Even they openly admit that.

Shop around, maybe you can find a better dealer than I did.

I got my R4-III today and am in Heaven!

The trick with using R4 Carts is using the proper kernal.

I researched what I would need for mine and I had a folder on my hd readied to copy over to the SD chip.

My R4 arrived today, I unboxed it, loaded my files onto the SD, plugged it into my DS and I've been playing for hours!

Me is a happy woman!

Analog style synthesizers are fun arent they? I love goofing around with them. The only time I ever used on on an EMP recorded track was for Hoedown.
