Graham, Billy Mays is a guy who we all had to see more than we would like doing TV adverts for the product called Oxyclean. Billy Mays had just passed away from a heart attack not long before Michael Jackson passed. As you can probably guess, Oxyclean is supposed to be the ULTIMATE cleaner that will remove rust and corrosion from the fixtures in your shower, and remove soap scum from the shower doors and tiles with just one swipe...etc. It can also be used as laundry detergent.

Truth is, I hated this guy. I had nothing against him personally. I hate him for the SOOOOOOOOOO many times that he rudely shocked me into awakeness while I was snoozing in my LazyBoy. I'd be cutting some Zs with the TV running quietly in the background....the...all of a sudden ....HI!!!! THIS IS BILLY MAYS HERE...YADA YADA OXYCLEAN....
The high volume, over-compressed audio will put an end to any dream that you are having ROFL!!

The only thing that annoys me more than loud commercials is ads where the guy thinks he has to yell out the script.

I once read somewhere that the ad companys do this because most people do a kitchen or bathroom run during commercials and they want their ad to be heard.

But it's still annoying as fuck.

There's a similar annoying toadie on TV over here the last year or so.... don't know his name (even though he yells it out at the start of the ad) and only just remember the name of the product - Cillit Bang (another bleeding cleaner!). Want to shoot him every time he comes on yelling his crap out....

Does anyone remember Ron Popiel's Pocket Fisherman? HAHAHAHA. For some reason, the term "Pocket Fisherman" always made me think about playing "Pocket Pool"...hahahaha. Of course I NEVER played pocket pool because I always tended to scratch. :P
