Part of my unwinding ritual when I come home from a week of work is that I peruse youtube videos of well-known artists. I came across this absolutely insane keyboard solo by Rick Wakeman tonight and thought I would share it. This guy has lightening in his fingers. It starts off a little slow but when he cuts loose, you better have your seatbelt fastened.
Hope you all enjoy!

That guy is amazing! Wow! Thanks for sharing...but...
Your killing me! I just began taking piano lessons a few weeks ago and although I think I am learning, seeing that just depresses me LOL
Just kidding, I have no intention of quitting. I won't be great but I will learn :)

Totally amazing shit. Wow
Tra...piano lessons? You go sis!

The good news is that EVERYONE has to start out as a beginnier...even Rick Wakeman did...Keith Emerson, Elton John, EVERYONE. At some point in their lives they didn't know one end of a keyboard from the other. So look upon this as motivation and encouragement. I think we ALL experience a slight bit of depression...or envy...when we see other people who can play circles around us on our given instruments, but if we weren't challenged by others, music would be very dull. :) I hope you enjoy your lessons!

YAY Tracy! Tickle those ivories. So happy to hear it. Music is one of those things that can never be taken away - unless of course your instrument gets repo'd.
