While out on Sunday (before the trauma in my other posts set in...) I parked the car outside LIPA and saw a mate of mine from many years ago walking up the road.

I said hello and he did a double take... not immediately recognising me... but he confessed that as he had walked up he saw the registration plate on my Honda (G5 ELP) and said to himself '...I would have given anything for that number plate a few years ago!' Imagine his face when he realised I owned it!!

He still has 'Trilogy' and 'BSS' in his own car I'm glad to say.

I pointed him to the EMP website so I'll keep an eye out for his feedback.

Happy Tuesday folks (well... it is here anyway!) - Graham.

Graham
If he signs up here he needs to let us know what username he picks because I am currently blocking all registrations due to the spam problems we have been having.

I get about 5 or so bogus registrations a day and Im not sure what is real and what is spam. if you have his name, or any idea as to what type of screen name he will use please email it to me.

Thanks

MarkE

Very nice story Graham! And very cool registration plate. Andrew Giddings, who has been the keyboard player for Tull for the past 16 years, flies small airplanes. On his myspace page there is a photograph of a Piper Cherokee with the registration G-DREW...I don't know if the plane actually belongs to him or if he just grabbed a picture of it for his webspace...I should fire a message to him and ask...LOL. DOH!

It's an especially happy Tuesday for me...well currently it's still Monday here off the Texas Coast but all the same it's happy. I was home three days on break and got a call that the person working the opposite schedule from me was no longer working on the job so I was "asked" to come back and finish up the last 4 days of his schedule. The good news is that it's OVERTIME for me at the rate of 2X WOOHOOO! Next payday will be very nice. And so here I am at 8:35pm, sitting on an offshore oil and gas production facility about 70 miles out to sea...sitting on my ass and enjoying surfing the web, etc..and getting paid double for doing it. It doesn't get much better than this I tell ya!

Cheers to all,

LC
